A corrugated sheet is a thin sheet with a wavy or profiled surface, which that profiling makes far stiffer and stronger than a flat sheet of the same material. Corrugated sheets are mainly used as light roof and wall cladding.

Application

Thanks to the corrugation, a sheet can span greater distances and still carry load. Materials:

Corrugated sheets are laid overlapping and fixed to battens or purlins with special screws or hooks with a sealing washer. The corrugations run down the slope so rainwater drains along the troughs. Benefits are the low weight and quick installation; a point of attention is condensation on the underside of metal sheets.
