A flex home is a relocatable, prefabricated dwelling that can be placed quickly on a site and later moved or reused. Flex homes have been used widely in the Netherlands since 2018 (and increasingly elsewhere) to ease housing shortages, help urgent target groups and temporarily use vacant plots.
